I just read this and checked my account. Sure enough,
everything was set to Yes.

Yahoo groups have automatically changed your account to check "Yes"
that you want e-mail from yahoo about yahoo companies and third party
advertisements.
Go to: http://www.groups.yahoo.com
Click on "account information" , do the password thing.
Click on "Edit your marketing preferences"
They have now checked all your options to YES!
Click "no" to each option and at the bottom click "submit options"

frequent!
