drip irrigation


Shortly after drip irrigation first "came out," Sunset magazine did an excellent summary of the new technology.  The article also included clear photographs of all the components attached to each other at the appropriate places, and an easy-to-follow eight-step series of instructions for installing the system.  That article was subsequently reprinted as a sort of brochure.  The article was first published in the May 1981 issue of Sunset magazine.  I'm sure they'd be happy to send you a copy, if they still have them.  Over the years they've written about the subject off and on.  The June 1982 issue has a helpful article about setting up a drip system to water pots.  They show a system linked up to 200 pot plants all on drip and a time clock.   Also ask about the article in the July 1976 issue.  Call them and ask for what they've got.  Sunset Magazine: (415) 321-3600  (the area code may be out of date...)
