Re: anyone tried Feline Pine?
Dear Sharon:
I don't have a cat and haven't tried the new litter. However, I must post a
warning about using cat litter in the garden as mulch. Most of us wouldn't
want our hands in cat poop -- I don't care what the bag says! Also,
pregnant women aren't supposed to even handle cat litter due to some disease
that can be transmitted to the unborn child.
I really think I would pass up this mulch or dispose of the litter in a
sealed plastic bag. I wouldn't even want to put it in a compost pile for
fear of contracting some disease.
What do the rest of you think?
