Can this provision be changed to allow replies to go to the list?  I know
this cuts out accidental replies of a purely personal nature that should go
to individuals, but this also cuts short threads that may well be of
interest to others on the list.  I belong to a couple of other lists that
have replies only to the sender, and their discussions tend to be quickly
truncated.  I know that many of these go on privately for some time longer,
with interesting information exchanged which I am not party to.  (I became
aware of this when a fellow member, who assumed I had read a particularly
valuable thread, queried me on it.  I drew a blank, and he kindly forwarded
me the material).

If one is involved in a continuing thread, it takes much more work and
concentration to type in the list address repeatedly (with more chances for
mistakes by bad typists like me).  On the other hand, if one wants to reply
off list, it takes only one change of address, and then a thread can
continue off list.

PLEASE! make the replies to the list!!!!
