Well, actually this was over a year ago, BUT, I just received an e-mail from
an editor at Garden Design who said that she just heard about this from a
GWL member. She apologized and asked me to send her an invoice and said she
would take care of it.
    I think that is very decent of her, and of Garden Design.
    At the time I was very pleased to get some exposure in Garden Design as
I know a ton of smart people who simply adore that magazine. I must say that
right now, I feel a whole lot better about them too.
    As for those who complained about this line of e-mail: I thought that
this was a list server for garden writers. For professional garden writers.
As such, whether or not a magazine actually pays one of us, or does not, for
requested work, would certainly seem to me to be a topic worth discussing.
