"I must sadly report to you that The Rosarian's Network member Jon Dodson
from Mottisfont Abby in the UK wrote to me today to say that Graham Stuart
Thomas passed away last night, April 16, 2003.  Graham was most of our
mentor by way of his books and articles on all types of roses but especially
Old Roses.  Graham had a gentile way with words and his books were a
landmark in garden publishing."
