New List

This is a test run of the new list, Gardenwriters on Gardening. If you are
getting this list on only one of the two lists, it means you are not signed
up on one of them. A few of the GWL members joined after I sent the
membership list to set up the new GWL-G list. If that is the case, contact
me offlist and I'll sign you up.

If you are receiving this letter and your GWL membership is set to "no mail"
or to digest mode, again, let me know and I'll set your membership on GWL-G
accordingly.

GWL-G is the list intended to let anyone on the GWL discuss any gardening
subject their little hearts desire. All I ask is that you keep it civil and
stick to facts. Be able to back up statements/comments with personal
experience, good references, or at least quotes from someone generally
recognized as an authority. I ask this only to help keep things clear and
concise and cut down on the kinds of things that lead to flame wars. Other
than that, the list is open to any and all aspects of gardening.

-Lon Rombough, list founder
