GAW Regional Mtg in DC June 25

Hi!

Several people have asked me about the GWA DC Regional Meeting that I'm 
co-organizing, so I thought I'd post here in case I missed individually emailing 
anyone.

It will be on Monday, June 25. The schedule now on the GWA web site is an old 
one - the updated version should be online soon - I've copied the current one 
here.

Schedule* 

6:00am - early photo shoot on your own at Bartholdi Park 
8:30-9am – check-in at USBG and view Terrace exhibit 
9-11am - tour of Bartholdi/"new" National Garden at USBG 
11-11:15am - bus to ASLA 
11:30-12:30 - Ed Snodgrass talk 
12:30-1:15 – 1st shift - half eat Box** Lunch/ half go on ASLA Green Roof 
talk and tour* 
1:15-2:00 – 2nd shift - half eat Box** Lunch/ half go on ASLA Green Roof talk 
and tour* 
2:00-2:45 - GWA Business Meeting, DCCVB "Welcome to DC" gardens talk, and 
Door Prizes 
2:45-3:00 - bus leaves ASLA to Folger 
3:00-3:30 – Folger Shakespeare Library garden tour 
3:30-3:45 bus returns to USBG/mall 
3:45-4:00 - "trunk samples" giveaway 
4:00 - Mall Gardens on your own

To secure a place in our 50 maximum attendee count - send National Director 
for Regional 2, Kirk Brown, a check for $35 with a note saying "GWA DC."  (Note 
this is the GWA member price - not sure of nonmember price or if spaces will 
be available for nonmembers).

The official registration brochure will not be mailed until 5 weeks before 
the event date.

Please pass on the word to any other interested GWA folks you may know.
