I admit that I never buried the cow horns--I bought some that someone else
had buried. But yes, it worked.

Silica works, too. Spray it early in the season and it will enhance
growth--that one has a good "scientific" basis, of course. The silica
reflects light, increasing it--not a good technique for Florida but great in
the north.
