Re: EPA orders Scotts to stop selling certain pesticides


I got the link to work but as far as i could see they are pulling the  
products because of 'paperwork'.  They have not registered the products and  are 
labeled wrongly.  Specifically mentioned are "garden weed preventer  +Plant food" 
and "SLS fertilizer with .28 Halts".
 
Wether this is criminal or not and if it was an accidental problem is not  
discussed, but will no doubt be clarified at some point.

These products have not been registered with the EPA  and are labeled with 
invalid EPA registration numbers. EPA has not reviewed any  information about 
the safety of these products. Pesticide products must be  registered with the 
EPA to protect public health and the environment
