For free seeds to nonprofits -- see Katie at America the Beautiful  
Foundation. The get leftover seeds at the end of the year which are dated and  
can't be re-sold and then they donate them to groups like yours. She is at  
_Katie@america-the-beautiful.org_ (K*@america-the-beautiful.org) .  We 
just profiled her in our magazine plus she is an all-around great person.  
Check out their web site for more about the ABF mission. They do a great 
deal  with very few resources and just a couple employees.

PS Thanks to some great GWL members I have finally gotten through to Sunset 
 -- it seems they are going through big personal changes and it is a fluid  
thing.

The group (a local peace  initiative) works with youth and plants 
several community gardens around  town. This is its first year.
