Battery Powered Lawn Mower

I am a list lurker, too! I have the Black and Decker battery-powered mower. I bought it last spring, and brought it out of hibernation yesterday. I have a quarter-acre property (a little less than 10,000 sq. ft.), and with the house, garden beds and deck, I have only 4,000 to 5,000 sq. ft. of lawn. If the grass is long and thick in spots, as it was yesterday, the battery barely has enough charge to mow all of it. That's about 30 to 40 minutes. On the positive side, it's quiet, effortless to start, and has no odor except freshly cut grass. We also have the B&D cordless string trimmer 18v, which does the job nicely, too .
