I don't answer questions for Home Depot, but I have found that it is   not 
a very good forum. They have our part of California lumped in with Northern  
California. I have taken them to task for this, and got nowhere--they 
insist  that our part  of SoCal, Santa Barbara to Monterey, and its inland areas, 
 are like San Francisco. If San Fran got our summer temps, from late April 
to  late November, they'd all die.
