I agree with Jo Ellen, there ain't nothin like picking warm tomatoes off the vine. Basil goes so well with tomatoes it would have to be my second choice. And strawberries. I planted alpine varieties a few years ago that you can't get in the grocery store. Oh, what sweet, tiny morsels of goodness they are.
