Re: web hosting services
Hello again, Renee
Web site registration is a bit of a personal choice... the people
who take care of my site design and maintenance take care of that for me...
I just get a bill for I think it is $10.00 a year. Now, the site design and
maintenance is a different story. If you get someone to help you with
setting up WordPress blog on a web site then they will want to host the site
where they can have easy access to it. I hired someone local ... more or
less.. so I can do face to face on occasion. Can be simple and direct, not a
lot of expense, or you can go for all the latest bells and whistles and pay
a lot. Your budget will dictate .... just remember you get what you pay for.
Don't know why you are having a problem reading back issues of the
blog. Will look into it and see what is going on.
Finally getting some spring here... early spring storms as well. Plants are
popping.
Patience required on the hydrangea.... could still come back from
root system as well as stems.

I know we've discussed this before, but I can't seem to access the
searchable database of old postings, so sorry for the repetition:
which service do you recommend for hosting your Wordpress blog, and
registering/maintaining your address?
PS. It feels like spring here on the eastern Connecticut shoreline, although
lawns are still mostly brown and beat-up looking. The weather has been
decent for only a couple of days, and I already feel like I'm a month behind
on my spring to-do list. Crocuses in bloom, buds swelling on the maples,
spring peepers singing (at last!!!). I'm still playing is-this-plant-dead,
but the various tiny signs of life are encouraging. My 'Mini Penny' mophead
hydrangeas still look pretty darn dead, though. I will be amazed if I get
any bloom on old wood this year.
Cheers, and thanks for any advice!
