I can't remember the name...

Does anyone remember the name of the growth stimulant that was derived from the immune response certain crab apples developed to fire blight. I think it was developed at Cornell and I remember sampling it 5-6 years ago. The name started with a vowel I think and sounded sort of miraculous-ly super hero-ish. My memory is pathetic. I'd appreciate any help.
