How about ice melters?  There are ones that can kill plants, others that can
concrete while some can actually help the lawn grow.

How about winter wind and desiccation problems on evergreens....broad and
narrow leaf.  Also include snow protection...especially under eaves.

How about dormant lawn feeding in late fall...are there pros and cons?  Does
it make a difference if it's organic?

Late fall applications of pre emergent herbicides.  Some commercial lawn care
companies push it because it increases their cash flow in the 'down' season
and reduces their workload in the busy season.  But does it work?  Is it for
homeowners also?

Growing perennials from seed? It's inexpensive, incredibly rewarding....but
you need time and patience.
