A good place to start is with the plant propagators, associations and mail
order catalogs.  Are you a member of GWAA?  If so, you already should be
receiving some sample slides and materials.  If not, go through the GWAA
directory under the commercial listings to find people who represent or who
are in the plant business.  They are always happy to loan art work for
publication or even give you duplicate slides to keep.  They only ask for a
credit line in return and consideration that you will mention them in the
source list or refer readers to them.

If you are not a GWAA member, start building your contacts by calling
various plant propagators, wholesalers and catalogs.  Ask for the public
relations department or media relations.  Getting to know these people is
valuable, because they can be resources for many things.  That is why the
networking at GWAA symposiums and regional meetings is so valuable.  You
form relationships with the very people who can help you the most.
