[GWL]: regional gardening info needed

I just received a letter from a woman in Rhode Island who wants to know what tulip or daffodil
she can rely on to be in bloom in the second week of April. I can give her all kinds of warnings
about weather and other factors that may affect an accurate answer - but do any of you live in
the area who can recommend a couple of likely daffs or tulips for this date? I always hate
generalizing about a region with garden conditions too different from my own - and almost all of
my gardening has been done in one place.
Thanks,
Carol
