[GWL]: Upcoming Tours for 2002

Expo Garden Tours specializes in garden tours and has for the last 14 years, 
since 1988. In fact we offer garden writers a 20% discount on the land 
portion of any of our tours anytime!  As a member of Garden Writers for many 
years we have made an effort to support the writers and try and provide a 
garden travel outlet to them at a reduced price.

For 2002 we have 4 spectacular tour programs to Floraide in the Netherlands, 
that a  horticultural exhibition that occurs only once every ten years.  
Chelsea Flower Show is a perennial favorite with 5 different touring 
selections as well as tours to Provence, Tuscany, Japan, South Africa and 
closer to home the Pacific Northwest.  These can all be viewed at 
www.expogardentours.com and again we extend to you a 20% on the land portion 
of the tours.

To pronmote a positive relationship with garden writers I have made several 
efforts to create and offer an extremely well priced program as an 
educational opportunity, some so discounted they are below my cost.  In 1999 
we offerred a program/ press trip to England and were joined by 28 
participants.  In 2001 we tried a similar program to the Netherlands and did 
not receive enough interest to actually operate the tour (it would have been 
a pre amble to the Floriade).  If there is enough interest I would be pleased 
to offer another tour/press trip at a future date.

If any of you feel that you have an audience that you would like to offer a 
garden tour to we can help you create the program and perhaps help with a 
marketing plan.  This could provide you with free travel as well as an 
opportunity to profit from your relationships with your readers, garden clubs 
and general audience if you deal with other media i.e. radio, TV, lectures,
