Most of the problem the other Jeff addressed has to do with the really poor scientific educational system we have here in America (and Canada?). When people start to think you can fix your car by waving a crystal over the engine (a gross hyperbole of the "california-type, natural living, mind set" or cure their arthritis by wearing magnets in their shoes or a copper bracelot, how the hell can we teach them that an element is an element no matter if it comes from an organic source or one that is not organic (in the Rodale sense of the word).
