Dear Gloria,
Predictably, I don't care for roundup. It
kills lots of microorganisms, so it isn't an ideal solution. However, if you
have to get rid of something like poison ivy (and you don't have a goat), it's
the best solution. There is new research about roundup showing harmful effects
to organisms other than microbes, but I can't get to my copy of it right now.
Perhaps someone on this list also saw it and saved it. I believe it was
published on the SANET (sustainable agriculture network) list.
