You're showing your age when you use the term "cutline."

I haven't heard it used for years. I happened to use the term with one of my 
garden editors some months ago, and she asked "What's a cutline?"

Only those of who are well past the age of 30 remember photos being referred 
to as "cuts" after they were engraved and ready for the press.
