Sorry - I missed adding a piece of information that came with another letter.  The company is a Japanese  nursery company.  Here is something from their first letter.  I assume they used the CRFG site as an example of what they were looking for.

I suspect that this is from California Rare Fruit Growers and the URL should be www.crfg.org, rather than crg.org.  Though crfg.org/photocon is a directory of photos taken for the crfg photo contest.  And I can't believe they'd pay $6k for three transparencies.... something must be wrong here....

Maybe the sender is someone who referred to the CRFG website as an example only?  The name at the bottom is NOT a CRFG officer or anyone related to their magazine as far as I can tell...
