Scotland Gardens

Hello again,

I don't pipe in much, but today I have another question...wow...two in
a row...

I will be visiting Scotland in the middle of September.  My
destinations are Edinburg for three days and the area around Sterling
for 7 days.  While in Sterling I'm with a tour, but I will have some
free time.

Given my short timing can some of you help with what gardens and sites
that are a must to see?  I am planning on the Royal Botanic Garden,
but beyond that I'm not sure.  If everyone names a particular garden,
I will know not to miss it.  I will be staying in town in both areas.

I'm planning for some pretty wet weather with temperatures between 45
and 70 degrees...is that a good plan?

How are these gardens for taking photographs...do I need permission if
I might publish them some day?
