I have an opinion on this one. It is, in my opinion, just another way to
scare people. If they think gardening is harmful then many people will
discontinue doing it without bothering to do any research of their own.

If plants were so harmful to the universe, then why did God create them
first?

The beneficial effect of plants on both the universe and its inhabitants
has been proven over and over again. Where did this man come up with
this and why would a publisher try to sell it without substantial
evidence that what he is claiming is factual?
