This is just my two cents but the bookstores are not stocking gardening
magazines. They claim they do not sell.
Locally here in Marion, IN there is very little even on the garden book
shelf. I inquire frequently (as the person I am seeing works there) as
to why they are not carrying them. I have repeatedly been told I am
almost the only one who frequents the garden section for either
magazines or books.
Interesting because our Borders has at least a dozen gardening magazines and their gardening book section is about 30 feet long and four to five shelves high.
One thing to remember though is that gardening is trendy. For the past 15 years it's been an in trend. I sense it's a bit played out and will sail along for another ten years until gardening is again rediscovered.
