Title: Re: [GWL] Sweet pea supplier Also, don't forget the Seed Savers Exchange. They have been making more and more of the best heirloom varieties available through their retail store (which all goes to support their preservation activities) and if it isn't in the retail catalog, odds are very good you will find it either in the regular listings or in their alternate group, the flower and herb exchange.
See http://www.seedsavers.org (or Google it if I got that wrong).

Subject: Re: [GWL] Sweet pea supplier
Robert Bolton & Son have been bought by Unwins, the largest sweet pea
breeder and supplier in Britain; the Bolton family is now focusing on
its retail nursery operation.
However, the name lives on and is still trading as an independent
entity with its own catalogue - but the not-very-sophisticated
website has been taken down pending its resurfacing in a more modern
incarnation.
I have their latest catalogue (Autumn 2002/Spring 2003) in front of
me... Here are the contact dertails:
Phone: +44 1945 427399
Fax: +44 1945 588235
Email: boltons.sweetpeas@virgin.net
I am in touch with the management so will ask about the website and
about export to the US.
In the meantime... try these US specialists:
Enchanting Sweet Peas (http://www.enchantingsweetpeas.com) 244
Florence Avenue, Sebastopol, California 95472.
Fragrant Garden Nursery (http://www.fragrantgarden.com) P.O. Box
4246, Brookings, OR 97415.
Sweet Pea Gardens (http://www.sweetpeagardens.com) 614 Surry Road,
Surry, Maine 04684.
Boltons and Unwins varieties are now being wholesaled into the US
much more than previously and can be obtained from a wide variety of
retail and mail order suppliers.
There are other suppliers listed at http://www.scentedsweetpeas.com/links.html
