Eucalyptus bark source

A friend who works at the Monterey Bay Aquarium is putting together an exhibit on sharks. scheduled for opening in March. She is including examples of sharks in art and literature. Evidently Australian aborigines on the coast of Northern Teritory have used sharks as subjects of paintings. They use the bark of eucalyptus tetrodonta (Darwin Stringybark) as the canvas for these paintings.

Eva would like the exhibit to be as realistic as possible, and asks if anyone knows if there is a source in the United States for stringybark bark? E. tetrodonta is not grown in this country, since it needs a very tropical climate and sandy soil.

If anyone knows of a source, please write me off-list.

Thanks for your help.
