The magazines/newsletters I subscribe to are:

The North American Rock Garden Quarterly
The Rock Garden (Scottish Rock Garden Club)
The Alpine Gardener (Alpine Garden Society)

Although these are "rock garden" publications, their range is considerably wider, and valuable information for all sorts of serious gardening is discussed.

I also receive The Pleurothallid Alliance Newsletter (about the subtribe Pleurothallidinae of the Orchidaceae).

I'll read Fine Gardening, Horticulture, Garden Design, and The Garden when I can get my hands on them--but don't subscribe.
