Fran and all,
Bionic Gardening Gloves-- "designed by a renowned hand surgeon to help protect your hands while enhancing dexterity." They're made of sheepskin leather with "anatomic relief pads on thumb, fingers and palm to help reduce fatigue, vibration and callouses," according to the company literature. I haven't had a chance to try them yet, since it has been nearly 100 degrees here and just keeping up with watering is exhausting.
