SHOW OFF YOUR TOMATOES FOR A CHANCE TO WIN $500!

Do you think your tomatoes taste like a million bucks? If so, then plan on
entering Territorial Seed Company's 4th annual Great Northwest Tomato
Taste-Off at the Village Green Resort in Cottage Grove, Oregon. While the
grand prize is not a million dollars, it is $500 plus a weekend stay at the
Village Green Resort, which is no small sack of "tomatoes". Second place
wins $250.00 and third place wins $100.00. The Taste-Off will be held on
Saturday, September 18th at 12:30 P.M. as part of the Gathering of Gardeners
Festival and Symposium. "The Great Northwest Tomato Taste-Off is a fun
opportunity for folks to get together and share their love of tomatoes, as
well as taste dozens of different varieties, many of which are considered
heirlooms that have been around for years", says Tom Johns, president of
Territorial Seed Company. While the idea of winning money is appealing for
some, many attendees are simply spectators, trying to find out which
tomatoes to grow next year.
In order to participate in the Great Northwest Tomato Taste-Off you must
fill out an entry form prior to the contest. The event is limited to the
