Re: Winter Seed Sowing Question


Use the rigid plastic markers sold in garden centers or from a place like AM Leonards online.  Write on them with a #2 pencil.  The writing will last for several years...long after UV light breaks down the plastic.  If you find that the plastic doesn't seem to take the graphite very well on the first try...then use the eraser on the portion of the marker you want to put your notes on, then write directly on the plastic.  Been doing this for 20 years with no problems.  For longer notes you can buy the same plastic material in sheets of 4by6 inches and larger from some horticultural supply houses.
