Re: ColorChoicePlants

Ok, I didn't hear the name on the phone correctly.  But e-mail to Tim 
Wood came back marked "no account" and the ColorChoice website has 
absolutely NOTHING in the way of a physical address or nursery name.  
When all contact is by e-mail or phone, I have to wonder why.  No links 
to any nursery, for that matter.
And that still doesn't change the nature of the plants I mentioned.

Spring Meadows Nursery is very much in business and developing plant 
stock.
I talked to Tim Meadows a couple days ago about the new Black Lace
ornamental elderberry and Fineline, another ornamental.  BTW, Spring 
Meadows
is an excellent resource for writers. They have many photos available,
knowledgeable people to interview and are very helpful. IMHO, the best
introduction Spring Meadows has made in the last few years is Limelight
hydrangea.  It's gorgeous and blooms reliably in cold climates such as 
mine.

Proven Winners formed an association with Spring Meadows and several 
other
plant development companies to expand their offerings.  PW is now doing 
most
of the marketing for Spring Meadows.
