Re: Tomato Tasting Festival ideas
I know I'm going to sound like a wet blanket, but I'm glad you won't
be throwing tomatoes. The idea of throwing tomatoes or wasting food
that way just really bothers me. Lots of people, companies and even
whole communities have these kinds of events, but it just doesn't
seem right to me. We may not be able to feed the starving children in
China or Africa, but the produce could be used to feed hungry people
in our communities at a local food pantry, soup kitchen, homeless
shelter...
