I suppose it depends on how you compare the energy used by one tractor and 
the energy expended by ... say twenty people laboring under a tropical sun 
in a community garden or staring at the less attractive end of an ox from 
dawn to dusk.

Speaking of small gardens, I am happy to recommend your CobraHead as 
probably the best hand cultivator available. But notice I said "available." 
I shall have a massive, boring evaluation with mind-numbing detail for you 
privately in a couple of days.
