I think it may be an age thing. My kids (14-26) tend to browse the internet
looking at video for fun. They also read the major news sites, but they
will search for music/sports/anything else videos that someone mentions. And
these are not how-to. They came across this one which shows from the
numbers, that all sorts of video can gain an audience: (warning: you may need a
stiff drink to keep up with this one!)

And there is this little snippet from an ad meeting where People magazine
had 18million page views from mobile devices alone (not desktops) in one
month.

I cannot imagine wanting to read a magazine on a cell phone, but 18 million
somebodies do.
