Re: echinacea



Something else to look for when evaluating new cultivars of Echinacea is
whether they revert to pink after several years. We did a story in
Chicagoland Gardening a year or so ago in which Connor Shaw, who runs a
native plant  nursery south of Chicago (called Possibility Place), was
quoted as saying he didn't get very excited or bothered by the new colors
because they were all going to revert eventually.
