Come hear my husband and me talk about a custom garden photo database on Monday, August 29 at 1 p.m. at the GWA Conference in Indianapolis.  We will explain how to create a database that cross references information in photos such as garden accents (e.g. benches, bird baths, paths, pergolas), design features (e.g. view through window, spiky flower, white garden, formal, cottage, Japanese style), location (garden name, owner, city, state, address), disposition, sales, plant type (e.g. annual, perennial), plant names (common and Latin).  It's very powerful when an editor asks for, say, a cottage garden with a bird bath and a path or examples of spherical flowers or two-toned flowers, or spiky flowers, or a list of specific plants in garden settings or portraits.
