Both shows are dazzling, as we know the Brits do it better than anyone. OK 
tongue in cheek :). Whisper in the garden is that Hampton tops them all.

Nan, never having been to the Chelsea Show, can't compare the two. 
However, Hampton Court Garden Show is incredible.  Been there twice, 
once on Press Day.  (For an American, seeing how the British judge the 
displays is an eye-opener.)   The designs are innovative and inspiring, 
the exhibitors more than willing to share their expertise, and some of 
the varieties of plants simply mind-boggling.  (There were so many 
moments when I simply wanted to grab plants by their roots and run...no, 
never did it.)

You will love it!
