Re: Anybody using Walter's Gardens images

FYI — I reached out to Susan Martin and here’s what she said. See second paragraph for media professionals.


The Walters Gardens, Inc. image usage agreement clearly states: If an image is used on a website, its use must be restricted, meaning that it not be posted in a downloadable format. This was a protection inserted by our lawyers who drafted this agreement. Their purpose is to protect Walters Gardens, Inc. from having our images and information stolen by competitors and used for their own benefit. This is a serious concern as on several occasions, companies have copied virtually our entire online database and used it as their own.
 
Of course our intention is not to punish media professionals who are graciously helping to promote our products through the use of our images. In such instances, we simply require that credit be given for our images. Since many different kinds of people and companies use our online image database, we have one blanket usage agreement posted that applies to everyone. If you have any concerns or questions regarding your own use of our images, please contact me directly at smm@waltersgardens.com or 1-800-925-8377 ext. 1350.
