Thought this might shine some light on the actual temperatures recorded in
July on a worldwide basis.  The graphics are wonderful

What's fascinating at least imo is that climate change predicts extremes
rather than simply warming.  So extremes in rain/drought,  heat/cold,
winds, etc.
