and more....We grew peas in planters on a balcony and some of them didn't get picked. The seeds fell into the planters and here we are on December 2nd ...the self seeding peas have regrown, flowered and now have two inch pods.
Violas that were also planted in these planters last spring self seeded and established themselves. They too are now flowering and have made the balcony a riot of colors that we'd expect to see in Georgia at this time of the year...not in zone 6 New York.
