Re: [GWL]: My Zone 5A Garden Still In Bloom!


For those of us who live in the land of fruits and nuts in Southern 
California, if the flowers weren't still blooming we know we'd be in trouble. 
I counted yesterday and calendulas, ageratum, lobelia, roses, bird of 
paradise, pansies, violas, scabiosa, petunias, alyssum, bidens, fibrous 
begonias, justicia, impatiens, snapdragons, and dianthus all blooming like 
mad.

It's cool weather time here, and with a little rain this fall, things look 
better than usual. When I say a little rain, that's under a couple of inches 
for us--about one fifth of our year's total.
