Re: [GWL]: gardening trends

FYI, the World Center for Birds of Prey (operated by the Peregrine 
Foundation) is on the outskirts of Boise. They've hatched many California 
condors and some Harpy eagles and returned them to the wild.  The 
interpretive center is fascinating.  The Snake River canyon southwest of 
the interpretive center a few miles was set aside as a raptor refuge years 
ago, perhaps by former Gov. Cecil Andrus when he was Secretary of the 
Interior.  Anyway, Raptors R Us.  Margaret Lauterbach
