Re: Horizontal Deer Fencing
| Dear all, A very large, enclosed garden I once did a story about was well-fenced around the periphery, since it included a compound of several homes in addition to the extensive gardens. Rather than put a gate up, however, the owners installed a used, commercial grating -- approximately ten-feet by ten-feet -- that the highway department gave them during a local road project. They reported that this was sufficient to keep the deer out since the animals wouldn't walk across it. I could dig up the owners' names and phone number if that is important.
