Re: Horizontal Deer Fencing


You've crossed dozens of them on western highways and byways. They're usually 
made of old worn out steel rails, set about four inches apart at the surface 
witha depression below, but they can be made of any substantial steel or iron 
that will sustain traffic. They make a helluva noise as you go over them in a 
car. Once cattle get used to them the highway dept can usualkly just paint 
stripes at the crossing to dupe the poor cattle.
