Title: Garden Solutions Dr. Elaine Ingham just gave me some very disturbing information. It seems that Garden Solutions is attempting to get a patent on compost tea. In other words, they could control and demand royalties from anyone who made compost tea.
Here's a snippet from a letter she wrote to me. I hope some of you with good influence in organics will contact the company and try to persuade them to stop trying to patent compost tea. If need be, we, as a group, could spread the word sufficiently that they would be stymied in their attempt. I'm sure I don't need to spell it out, how much havoc it would wreak for one group to control this method of feeding/stimulating plants and microorganisms.
What we need is to get the information out to people that they are trying to patent compost tea in a way that doesn't allow Growing Solutions to hit you with a lawsuit. The president of the company always threatens legal actions whenever you look crossed eyed at him.
Growing Solutions has a web site, www.growingsolutions.com
