Re: LCD projectors?
We've had good luck with our InFocus projector. Just this year, after
several lecture seasons on the cusp, I found that more of my pertinent images
were digital than 35mm, so I went from having jpegs or gifs burned onto
slides to having scans made of the minority of images that were still
transparencies.
Chris mentioned rentals. It's worth trying, but last time I checked,
everyone who had an LCD projector for rent seemed determined to pay it off in
under a month. Per-day prices were exorbitant. But that, too, may have
changed in the meantime.
