Nancy -
I would guess that any of the photographers on this list could help with
your project. I probably could also, depending on the subjects needed. My
'day job' is photo buyer for Horticultural Printers in Dallas, and I deal
with many horticultural photographers all over the world on a daily basis.
Most of them charge no research fee, and all of them are easy to work with.
Quality ranges from so-so to awesome. Awesome costs more.
As for consistent style, you might be able to select photos from various
photographers that all have the same look. Most of us photographers must
shoot when the opportunity arises regardless of time of day or weather or
type of film we have. This means that unless all of the shots were done
during a single session there will be variations in color and lighting. I
love the photo stories that are shot extensively by one photographer of a
single garden and all with a consistent look and style. I'm sure there are
other photographers on this list who can supply sets of images for a single
garden.
Feel free to contact me off list if you'd like to consider my photos or to
contact other photographers I know.
